The Sony Reon Pocket 3 Wearable Thermo Device is the newest and upgraded (3rd Generation) of the original Reon Pocket Wearable Thermo Device (COOL & WARM) for outdoor or indoor use.
The new Reon Pocket 3 brings a myriad of improvements and innovations: A new Thermo Engine, auto Start/Stop based on movement, 5 new sensors to detect motion and temperature, and an improved body heat absorption.
The new SMART COOL, MY MODE and AUTO modes allow you to set different temperatures based on movement (running, walking, sitting) or based on the body temperature detected by the sensor.
With additional temperature control modes and an upgraded battery, the new Reon 3 now features a SUS316L stainless steel contact pad that directly draws heat from your skin and transfers cooler temperatures more easily to the skin.
Controlled via Bluetooth with its mobile app* for iOS and Android, the Reon Pocket can be adjusted to keep you cool during the summer or warm during the winter with its dual WARM & COLD mode that makes it useful all-year-round.
The Sony Reon Pocket 3 must be used attached to Sony Reon T-Shirts or with the Sony Reon Neckband (both sold separately).
Besides the standard Reon t-shirts, Sony has also partnered with a number of fashion brands to make Reon-compatible clothing. Le Coq Sportif, Descente Golf, Edifice, Estnation and Musingwear are some of the fashion brands that are already offering shirts that can accommodate the Wearable Thermo Device.
Charged via USB-C plug, the new Reon Pocket 3 is now also sweat resistant so that it can also be worn during various forms of light exercise and outdoor activities.

The iOS app for Sony Reon Pocket requires a Japanese App Store account. Instructions on how to download the iOS or Android apps are included in all orders, but after-sales support or technical assistance is not provided by ShopMask.
- Can I use it without the special t-shirts?

The Sony Reon Pocket can only be used together with the special Sony Reon T-Shirts or attached to a Sony Reon Neckband (both sold separately). For better performance, Sony recommends using the Sony Reon Pocket with the special t-shirts. The special neckband can be used as an alternative to the t-shirts, but the cooling performance will not be the same.
- Does it cool down my whole body?

The lowest setting will offer a gentle cooling around the device. Increasing the settings to maximum level, a larger area on your back will experience a stronger cooling sensation. For better results, Sony recommends that you use the Reon Pocket with the Reon T-Shirts instead of the neck support.
- How does the Reon Pocket work?

Differently from air conditioners, the Sony Reon Pocket uses thermoelectric technology to cool down (or raise) your body temperature when you keep it in contact with your body. Taking advantage of the Peltier Effect (a scientific concept in thermodynamics), temperature difference is created by applying a voltage between two electrodes connected to a semiconductor material.
